Over the years, Fattoria di Monticello has undergone a process of continuous fine-tuning, and has specialized first in growing grapes by means of selective techniques aimed at obtaining excellent quality from a small produce, and then in winemaking based on absolutely traditional methods but with cutting-edge equipment and technologies. This allowed us to obtain wines of superior quality, without ever departing from the principles of bio-sustainable viticulture.

Bellamora

Bellamora / sparkling wine
Classic method

Obtained through soft pressing and maturation on the lees for 24 months with previous re-fermentation in the bottle. Sparkling wine Bellamora has a straw yellow colour and a fine, persistent perlage. Very elegant, with hints of bread crust and white flowers.

Salomone

Salomone / Cabernet Sauvignon
Umbria I.G.T. (Typical Geographical Indication)

After fermentation, ages in barriques for a deep aroma and a lingering taste. The colour is deep ruby red with purple hues.

Ponetro

Ponetro / Pinot Nero

Ponetro is a Pinot Noir Umbria I.G.T. that after the fermentation process, is aged in stainless steel tanks.

Baciavento

Baciavento / Umbria Rosso (Red wine)
Umbria I.G.T. (Typical Geographical Indication)

Baciavento is an Umbria Rosso I.G.T. produced with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes.
The vinification takes place separately in steel for each variety and at a controlled temperature; this is followed by a brief refinement in French oak barriques.
Bright red in colour, the nose reveals scents of currants and blackberries while the taste is pleasantly soft.

Ginestrello / Grechetto

Fermentation and short ageing in stainless steel tanks and refining in bottle. The colour is of a bright golden yellow, with a fine and intense aroma of yellow fruits.

Marièl

Marièl / Pinot Gris

White wine vinification. After temperature controlled fermentation, rests in stainless steel tanks and then refine in bottles. The colour is of a pale yellow with copper undertones, the aroma is delicare and intense with fruity notes.

Giacchio

Fermented in stainless steel tanks and then finally refined in bottle.
Pale yellow with golden undertones in colour.

Vibio

Vibio / Umbria Rosso (Red wine)

Fermentation in stainless steel tanks and further refining in bottle.
The colour is of a deep ruby red.

Mi'chicco

Mi'chicco / passito

From the drying on the trellis and the subsequent pressing with manual press, was born Mi'Chicco: a passito Umbria I.G.T. golden and with a bright color.
Bunches are manually harvested and left to dry on rails, then softly pressed and fermented for 20 days.
The wine rests in stainless steel tanks and then refines in bottle.
